The theme of this year’s report is Yolchicahua, a Nahuatl word for courage. More fully, it speaks to the way our hearts are strengthened through the acts of others. This is the courage we witnessed across our community in 2025. It is steady, intentional, and rooted in deep care for land, people, and future generations.
In a year marked by political instability, shifting funding landscapes, and increasing threats to our communities, our grantee partners did not pause. They adapted, organized, and continued building power, reminding us that this work does not stop in difficult moments. It deepens.

Our partners are countering harmful narratives with truth, uplifting community knowledge, advancing food sovereignty, and organizing toward climate, land, and labor justice.
Their work reflects a powerful truth. Courage is not loud or performative. It is practiced daily through mutual aid, storytelling, relationship building, and collective resistance.
Wildseeds Fund remains committed to resourcing this courage. We continue to move with intention, channeling funding, trust, and solidarity to strengthen the infrastructure that makes long term change possible.
