Agriculture for Community Restoration, Economic Justice, and Sustainability (A.C.R.E.S.) restores and regenerates Black communities in North St. Louis by advancing food sovereignty, supporting Black farmers, and building an equitable food system rooted in community. Wildseeds funding strengthens its storytelling, outreach, and communications efforts to elevate local voices and expand community-led solutions for food and land justice. 

Returning grantee Black Fiber & Textile Network supports Black fiber farmers, natural dyers, artists, and small manufacturers advancing regenerative agriculture and cultural preservation through natural fibers and plant dyes. Wildseeds funding will support multimedia storytelling, educational video production, and graphic design services that elevate member businesses and expand public awareness of regenerative textile systems. The project will increase visibility for Black-led fiber economies while strengthening understanding of the connections between agriculture, ecology, culture, and local economic resilience. 

Burning Cedar Sovereign Wellness is an Indigenous women-led organization advancing community healing through Indigenous foodways, land stewardship, and cultural revitalization. Wildseeds funding will support From Land to Lens, a storytelling and communications initiative that documents the restoration of Muscogee allotment land while sharing Indigenous knowledge through multimedia content, educational resources, and community-led storytelling. The project will strengthen Indigenous food sovereignty, expand access to cultural knowledge, and amplify Indigenous-led models of healing, environmental stewardship, and community care. 

The California Community Land Trust Network works to expand equitable access to farmland by promoting community land trusts as a long-term solution for small-scale farmers, farmworkers, and BIPOC communities. Wildseeds funding will support a strategic communications campaign that includes bilingual educational materials, storytelling, webinars, community convenings, and policy outreach to increase awareness of community ownership models and help underserved farmers access new land opportunities. The project aims to build collective power, strengthen partnerships, and ensure California's historic investments in farmland access benefit the communities they are intended to serve. 

El Departamento de la Comida de Puerto Rico is a cultural food hub advancing food sovereignty through local food systems, cultural preservation, and knowledge exchange. Wildseeds funding will support Que No Se Pierda la Cosecha, a communications initiative that expands storytelling, documentation, and community engagement through workshops, multimedia content, and public campaigns that connect farmers, cooks, and communities. The project will strengthen communi- cations infrastructure, elevate local food knowledge, and build a shared narrative around food sovereignty across Puerto Rico and its diaspora. 

FEED Seven Generations is a Native-led nonprofit advancing Indigenous food sovereignty through education, advocacy, and Native-led economic development. Wildseeds funding will support From Seed to Sovereignty, a storytelling initiative that strengthens communications infrastructure and provides Native food entrepreneurs with media, marketing, and storytelling tools to increase their visibility and market access. The project will amplify Native food economies, elevate Native-led solutions, and strengthen public understanding of Indigenous food systems, stewardship, and economic self-determination. 

Returning grantee Food Chain Workers Alliance is a coalition of worker-led organizations representing food workers across the supply chain, from farms and processing facilities to restaurants and retail. Wildseeds funding will support a worker-centered storytelling and narrative change campaign that elevates the experiences of immigrant food workers through multimedia content, artist collaborations, and organizing tools designed to strengthen solidarity and collective action. The project will increase the visibility of food workers, deepen connections across labor and food justice movements, and advance more just narratives about immigrant communities and the food system. 

Returning grantee Food for the Spirit is a BIPOC-led worker collective advancing food justice through policy advocacy, storytelling, network-building, and community-led leadership development. Wildseeds funding will support a statewide policy working group, expanded communi- cations infrastructure, and narrative development efforts that center QTBIPOC farmers, immigrant farmworkers, and food justice advocates across New York. The project will strengthen community-led advocacy, deepen cross-regional organizing, and amplify stories that connect food justice, worker justice, and community-controlled food systems. 

Foxfire Ranch is a Black-owned farm, cultural hub, and storytelling space dedicated to preserving Black land stewardship, agricultural traditions, and cultural memory in North Mississippi. Wildseeds funding will support the creation of a digital oral history archive documenting the stories of Black land stewards, organizers, and community elders, alongside community-led storytelling, oral history training, and public art installations. The project will preserve critical histories, strengthen community connections to land and legacy, and elevate the role of Black landownership and agricultural justice in shaping the region's past and future. 

FrontLine Farming is strengthening its communications capacity through FOODWAYS: Seeds, Stories, and Survival in a Time of Crisis. As climate instability, displacement, and funding challenges threaten the visibility of cultural foodways and community knowledge, FrontLine Farming will develop a year-round storytelling system that documents and shares the African, Arab, Indigenous, and bioregional traditions cultivated on its farms. Through multimedia content, seasonal narratives, and community engagement, the project will preserve cultural knowledge, amplify frontline voices, and deepen public understanding of the connections between food, land, and belonging. 

La Finca Cooperative works to advance food sovereignty, land stewardship, and economic opportunity through Black and Brown farmer leadership in Maine. Wildseeds Grant funds will support the production of a short documentary film highlighting formerly incarcerated individuals who have found healing, purpose, and opportunity through farming and land stewardship. Through storytelling, community screenings, and public dialogue, the project will elevate the experiences of BIPOC farmers, challenge harmful narratives around incarceration, and promote agriculture as a pathway for reentry, community resilience, and long-term systems change. 

Liberation Farm is a Black-led farm and community space that nourishes people and plants through regenerative agriculture, food justice, public education, and healing-centered programming. Wildseeds funding will support outreach, publications, public education, and narrative-building efforts that elevate issues of food sovereignty, farmland equity, and food justice. Through storytelling, advocacy, workshops, and community events, the project will expand public awareness, deepen community engagement, and amplify Black-led solutions for a more equitable food system. 

Mystic Roots Foundation works to preserve and advance the cultural heritage, economic vitality, and land-based traditions of the Gullah Geechee community on Sapelo Island. Wildseeds Grant funds will support the Hogg Hummock Artisan Market Campaign, a strategic communications initiative that promotes the market as a hub for local food, arts, crafts, and cultural exchange. Through printed promotional materials, digital storytelling, and social media outreach, Mystic Roots Foundation will elevate the voices of local farmers, artisans, and cultural practitioners while increasing visibility for descendant owned businesses, strengthening regional food system partnerships, and sharing community led narratives that celebrate Gullah Geechee culture and resilience. 

Ndée Bikíyaa (The People's Farm) is a tribally operated farm advancing Apache food sovereignty, cultural preservation, and regenerative agriculture on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. Wildseeds funding will support Sharing Our Apache Way, a storytelling initiative that will produce a series of short documentary films highlighting Apache foodways, youth engagement, traditional foods, and the connection between language and food sovereignty. The project will strengthen cultural knowledge transmission, increase youth engagement in traditional food practices, and elevate Apache voices within broader conversations about Indigenous food systems and climate resilience. 

The New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice is a Black- and immigrant-led worker organizing organization that builds power among low-wage workers through grassroots campaigns, policy advocacy, and racial and economic justice organizing. Wildseeds funding will support the launch of a new restaurant worker organizing initiative following the dissolution of ROC-NOLA, helping establish NOWCRJ as a leading voice for restaurant workers in New Orleans. The project will develop a comprehensive communications strategy, campaign branding, digital infrastructure, media outreach, and public storytelling efforts to engage restaurant workers, increase visibility, and strengthen worker-led organizing in one of the country’s most significant hospitality economies. 

Survival Bloc is a national BIPOC-led climate resilience network that supports frontline communities through grassroots organizing, mutual aid, climate survival infrastructure, and food sovereignty initiatives. Wildseeds funding will support a strategic outreach and media campaign for Grandmother’s Garden, a Black-led food sovereignty and land stewardship project in Louisville’s historically Black West End. The project includes community storytelling, neighborhood interviews, door-to-door outreach, multimedia content production, and the creation of FLORA, a seasonal political education and gardening zine focused on food sovereignty, climate resilience, environmental justice, and intergenerational Black land stewardship. The campaign aims to recruit new community land stewards, strengthen local organizing, and build narrative power around community-controlled food systems and climate survival. 

The Margin is an investigative news organization dedicated to reporting climate, environmental, and social justice issues through rigorous, data driven journalism. Wildseeds Grant funds will support the expansion of The Margin's audience engagement and communications strategy, helping bring critical reporting to new and more diverse audiences through short form video, digital storytelling, and community centered engagement. Funding will also strengthen staffing capacity, communications infrastructure, and partnerships with frontline communities, ensuring that underreported stories, particularly those impacting food systems workers and communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis, are accessible, actionable, and reach the people most affected. 

Ukwakhwa (Our Foods) is an Indigenous-led nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing Haudenosaunee foodways, agriculture, seed keeping, traditional cooking, and cultural knowledge. Wildseeds funding will support a digital storytelling and education initiative that expands the organization’s ability to share Indigenous agricultural knowledge through professionally produced educational videos and a community-centered podcast. The project includes the production of 12 educational farming and cooking videos, the launch of a podcast featuring Indigenous knowledge keepers, chefs, seed stewards, and community members, and investments in communications infrastructure to support long-term content creation. By pairing digital resources with existing programs such as seed giveaways, workshops, and agricultural trainings, Ukwakhwa aims to increase access to traditional food knowledge, strengthen intergenerational learning, and advance Indigenous food sovereignty within Oneida, Haudenosaunee, and broader Indigenous communities.
